From first ever test match played in 1877 between England and Australia, in around 150 years of test cricket history, there are only 2 rare occasions of tied test matches.
There are only 2 instances of teams scoring more than 900 runs in an inning. First time it is achieved by England against Australia in Aug 1938, when they scored 903 runs for 7 wickets in their first inning. Second and last (till date) 900 plus score is recorded by Sri Lanka against India, when they scored 952 runs for 6 wickets in their first inning.
